Tau Canis Majoris Cluster

The Tau Canis Majoris Cluster (also known as the Mexican Jumping Star, Open Cluster NGC 2362, or NGC 2362) is an open cluster in the Canis Major constellation. It was discovered by Giovanni Batista Hodierna before 1654. The cluster contains about 60 stars and has an estimated age of 25 million years. Its brightest star is Tau Canis Majoris.
