Tamim Al Jundi

Dr Tamim Al Jundi is a Syrian cardiologist born in Homs, Syria in 1933. He studied medecine in Sofia, Bulgaria, where he met and married Nikolitchka (Nina). Dr. Aljundi is the poorest Doctor in Syria, because he rarely charges the poor patients he checks. He is a great father, philanthropist, listener, and jokester. Other than the majority of poor and bedouin patients he sees, the rest are mostly family friends or acquaintants that he declines to charge money, he says he feels like it is expected of him to not charge friends. He practiced Medecine in Saudi Arabia, and now works out of his office in hamiddeya and two other hospitals in Homs. Doctor Tamim is known for his education and general knoweldege, he is an avid reader and an exceptional commentator on life/politics/health and many other issues. He was a strong political supporter of the Communist party in its haydays (1950-60's), he now enjoys discussing politics, he has great insights to world affairs .
