Taman Johor Jaya

Taman Johor Jaya is a new town situated in the northern outskirts of Johor Bahru, the second largest city of Malaysia. With a population of 16,000 families, it is primarily residential, but it also has light industrial and commercial zones. There are several golf courses. The seven sections were built in phases, starting in 1990:
  • Anggerek
  • Dedap
  • Keembong
  • Seroja
  • Teratai
  • Bakawali
  • Rosmerah
The central commercial area is in Jalan Dedap, and includes the locally popular Lavender cake shop and the Steamboat restaurant. Johor Jaya is administered by the Johor Jaya Council.
