Tahoma

Tahoma is a sans-serif typeface designed by Matthew Carter for the Microsoft Corporation in 1999. It is nearly identical to Verdana but with tighter letter-spacing and greater Unicode coverage. Tahoma is also the former name of the stratovolcano Mount Rainier in the Cascade Range and is the original form of the word "Tacoma", as in the city of Tacoma, Washington.
