T-bar Lift

A t-bar lift, also called t-bar, is a mechanised system for pulling skiers uphill. It consists an aerial steel rope loop running over a series of wheels, powered by an engine at the upper end. Hanging from the rope overhead are equally-spaced vertical cables attached to a plastic T-shaped bar that is placed between the skiers or snowboarders legs and pulls the skier or snowboarder uphill. A t-bar can lift a maximum of two people at a time per t-bar.
