Bremgarten circuit

. The Bremgarten track would remain the home of the Swiss Grand Prix until
1954
, after which motor racing was banned by the Swiss government as an unsafe spectator sport following the death of 80 people at the

24 hours of Le Mans
. The Swiss Grand Prix returned to the racing calendar in
1982
, albeit at a track just across the border in
Dijon
,
France
.
