Swing (Band)

Swing is a Canadian no-trad band of Franco-Ontarian origins.

Profile

Contrarily to what the name could seem to suggest, its sound is not inspired by swing music, only Quebecois folklore, which is adapted with techno music. The name comes from the Quebec French term Swinger, meaning in this context to dance, and the phrase Swinge la bacaisse dans le fond d'la bote bois!, a classic, almost clich expression used in Quebec folklore music parties.
