Sweet Violet Viola odorata is a species of the genus Viola which can be found in Europe and Asia, but was also introduced in North America. It is also called sweet violet or garden violet. The flowers have a dark-violet, blue or white colour. The sweet violet can be found near the edges of the forests or in clearings. The flowers appear as early as February and last until the end of April.
