Swedish Hip Hop

Swedish hip hop is a subgenre of hip hop. Swedish hip hop has its roots in Stockholm and Malm in the middle 1980s. Swedish rap crews and artists usually rap in Swedish, English, or a mix of both. The only hip-hop/rap magazine in Sweden was, "Gidappa". Not Excisting since early 2004. Other magazine revolving around the hip-hop culture are UP and Kingsize. The break-through for swedish hip-hop was 1998-1999 with Petter and later on Ken, Blues. But the first big hip-hop act in Sweden was Just D.
