Swabia (German: Schwaben) is one of the seven administrative regions of Bavaria, Germany, located in the south-west of Bavaria. It was formed out of that part of the historic region of Swabia which was annexed by Bavaria in 1803. The Regierungsbezirk is subdivided into 3 regions (Planungsregionen): Allgu, Augsburg, Donau-Iller. Donau-Iller also includes two districts and one city of Baden-Wrttemberg. Kreise
