Svealand Theory

The Svealand theory is the commonly held opinion amongst most scholars that Gamla Uppsala in Uplandia, Sweden, was the location of the ancient pagan temple of sa-faith worshippers, i.e. the place which in earliest forms was written Uppsala. The theory also includes that Uppland and the region of lake Mlaren was the origin of Svealand, and its tribe the Svear. See also: Svealand, Gtaland theory, History of Sweden
