Sursum CordaSursum Corda is a small neighborhood located in NW Washington, DC. Its boundaries are defined by North Capitol St, 2nd St., K St., & New York Ave. It was built in the 1970s as new housing for people displaced by urban renewal. Much of the area was previously part of the Swampoodle neighborhood. The area is currently designated as an increased enforcement zone for the DC Police for drug trafficing and prostitution.
