Superbradyons
are a hypothetical class of
superluminal
particles
. Unlike
tachyons
, they would have positive
real
values for both
mass
and
energy
. The term was suggested by
Luis Gonzalez-Mestres
as an antonym to
bradyon
(
tardyon
).
