The Sun Crusher is a prototype superweapon from the Star Wars universe. It appeared in The Jedi Academy Trilogy by Kevin J. Anderson where Kyp Durron used it to destroy Carida and the surrounding systems. The Sun Crusher is an near indestructable craft which destroys entire solar systems using a resonance torpedo that causes a star to go supernova. But,the Sun Crusher was used by Kyp Durron to lure the prototype Death Star into a black hole,and both craft disappeared into the black hole,while Kyp escaped in an escape pod.
