Suicide SqueezeIn card games of the whist family, the suicide squeeze is a squeeze in which the squeezee is squeezed by a card played by his partner. This is the only difference, that means that all squeezes (with the exception of Double squeezes) can be executed by the partner of the squeezee. In baseball, a suicide squeeze is a play where a runner on third base starts running for home plate when the pitcher starts delivering a pitch, expecting the batter to lay down a bunt in order to score a run. The play is named "suicide" since the runner would definitely be out if the batter fails to bunt the ball.
