Suess (Lunar Crater)Suess is a small lunar impact crater on the Oceanus Procellarum. The closest significant crater is Reiner, about 150 kilometers to the west-northwest. The Lunar mare that surrounds the Suess crater is marked by the rays radiating from the Kepler crater to the east-northeast. The long, sinuous rille named Rima Suess begins about 30 kilometers to the east of Suess, and winds its way in a generally north-northwesterly direction for a length of almost 200 kilometers. Satellite craters By convention these features are identified on Lunar maps by placing the letter on the side of the crater mid-point that is closest to Suess crater. | idth="25%" style="background:#eeeeee;" |Latitude | width="25%" style="background:#eeeeee;" |Longitude | width="25%" style="background:#eeeeee;" |Diameter | | lign="center"|B | align="center"|5.7° N | align="center"|47.3° W | align="center"|8 km | | lign="center"|D | align="center"|4.7° N | align="center"|46.5° W | align="center"|7 km | | lign="center"|F | align="center"|1.1° N | align="center"|44.6° W | align="center"|7 km | | lign="center"|G | align="center"|3.4° N | align="center"|48.4° W | align="center"|4 km | | lign="center"|H | align="center"|4.0° N | align="center"|45.7° W | align="center"|4 km | | lign="center"|J | align="center"|6.9° N | align="center"|48.5° W | align="center"|3 km | | lign="center"|K | align="center"|6.5° N | align="center"|50.0° W | align="center"|3 km | | lign="center"|L | align="center"|6.1° N | align="center"|50.5° W | align="center"|5 km |
