Sue Lawley

Sue Lawley (born July 14, 1946) is a well-known and popular English broadcaster. Born in Dudley, England, she graduated from the University of Bristol before becoming well-known as one of the presenters of the BBC's TV news magazine Nationwide in the 1970s. She has appeared as a newsreader on radio and TV and in a number of other broadcasting roles, in particular, since 1988, presenting Desert Island Discs on BBC Radio 4. Lawley, Sue
