Structure Of Russian Military

Military of Russia has a three-branch structure, which to the larger degree corresponds to today's requirements and makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of combat employment, seriously simplify interaction of different branches of armed forces and to reduce the cost of troop command and control system. At present armed forces structurally include three branches:
Ground forces
Air Force
Navy
Three kinds of troops :
Strategic missile troops
Space troops
Airborne troops
And also:
Main personnel directorate
Rear of the armed forces
Building and the quartering of troops
Troops, that are not part of any branch
