StroponesStropones (Greek: Στρόπωνες) is a small village in the island of Euboea in central Greece. It has about 600 residents and it is centrally located, 48 km away from Chalkis. The beautiful authentic mountain village is to approx. 700 m over the sea idyllisch in sumptuous green because of a mountain-slope embedded. The only overnight accomodation is at the upper end of the village at the road direction Steni Dirfos. The relatively new house with 8 of beautiful, favorable and very clean studios is recommended really. Stropones has developed quite rapidly in the last few years thanks to the natural beauty of the landscape.
