Strict Consistency

Strict consistency in computer science is the most stringent consistency model.

It says that a read operation has to return the result of the latest write operation which occurred on that data item. Due to the laws of physics this model cannot be used for distributed systems (information would have to travel faster than light) but for uniprocessor systems (seems to be a requirement for this kind of systems).
