Strickland PropaneStrickland Propane is a propane store on the fictional animated series King of the Hill. Buck Strickland owns the company, though he delegates most of the day-to-day responsibilities to his most loyal employee, Hank. The store's slogan is "Taste the meat, not the heat", referring to the fact that propane does not alter or mask the taste of meat, the way charcoal does. Strickland Propane sells propane gas and propane accesories such as grills. Its main competition is Thatherton Fuels, owned by former Strickland employee M. F. Thatherton. In one episode Mega Lo Mart started selling propane, nearly running Strickland Propane out of business. Employees - Buck Strickland - Manager
