Strasser Brothers

The Strasser Brothers were Gregor (1892-1934) and Otto Strasser (1897-1974) who, as members of the Nazi Party, exhorted Adolf Hitler to instigate a revolution that would be socialist as well as nationalist. Gregor died during the Night of the Long Knives, whilst Otto fled to Switzerland, Portugal and then Canada, returning to Germany after the War. The Strasser brothers have been influential on the International Third Position and related European movements with their ideology sometimes referred to as Strasserism.
