Steve Cannane

Steve Cannane is a news journalist and current affairs reporter for the Triple J radio station, the Australian national youth broadcaster. He started as a reporter for The Morning Show the (then) current affairs show. In 2003, after Francis Leach left the station, Cannane took on the position of host of the show. This role only lasted a year after a shake-up at Triple J caused a shuffle of their programming. In this shake up Triple J's current affairs show changed format. The new show for 2004, named Hack, is a half hour show at 5.30pm on weekdays (after Today Today) and is completely music free. Steve also had a job working on ABC's Pop Culture show Mondo Thingo with Amanda Keller and Robbie Buck
