Starkenburg

For the astronomical observatory in Heppenheim, see Starkenburg Observatory. Starkenburg is a "technology region" of Germany, consisting of the districts (Kreise) of Bergstrae, Darmstadt-Dieburg, Gro-Gerau, and Odenwaldkreis, along with the city of Darmstadt. The Starkenburg Economic Development Agency coordinates the efforts of the government units in marketing the region to technology companies.
