Stargate Sg-1 (Roleplaying Game)Stargate: SG-1 Roleplaying Game is a roleplaying game based on the TV series Stargate SG-1, released in 2003 by Alderac Entertainment Group. The game, based on AEG's Spycraft, uses the d20 System. Core rulebook The core Stargate roleplaying book has about 490 pages consisting of: - a section that neatly summarizes the television show's episodes through season six
- a section giving information on some worlds previously visited by SG-1
- the details on Stargate Command and the Cheyenne Mountain Complex
- details on the Goa'uld, including their history, breeding information, types, and common psychology
- more skills and feats than you can shake a stick at, including great unarmed combat feats that should be available in just about any game
- an amazing amount of gear
- details for Dungeon Masters on building worlds to visit, races to encounter, and otherwise constructing things for Stargate games
The book is well bound and in full color throughout; it is built for a lot of use. It retails for $50 USD; after World's Largest Dungeon, it is the largest and most expensive d20 System resource. Supplements AEG have published several supplemental books for the Stargate roleplaying line: - Fantastic Frontiers (2003) and Friends and Foes (2004), detailing seasons one and two of the series
- False Gods (2004), giving details of the Goa'uld System Lords
- First Steps (2004), a collection of worlds and adventures. These are created by AEG and not taken from the series.
