Stardust (Band)

Stardust consisted of producer Thomas Bangalter, vocalist Bob Diamond and songwriter Alan "Braxe" Queme. The short-lived group released the immensely popular club track called "The Music Sounds Better With You" in June of 1998. The song, which is based around a sample from Fate by Chaka Khan, was an instant smash, and many have dubbed it "The Greatest House Song of the Millennium." It was recorded in Paris by Daft House productions, which Bangalter, one half of the popular french House duo Daft Punk, is head of. The three members of the band parted ways after their highly auspicious debut, Diamond and Queme to pursue solo careers, and Bangalter, along with Guy Manuel de Homem-Christo, to release Daft Punk's most popular album, Discovery, which marked the group's crossover into the realm of Disco-House.
