Standard Bank Of Canada

The Standard Bank of Canada was the Canadian bank established in 1873 as St Lawrence Bank, but was renamed after an re-orgaization in 1876 as Standard Bank of Canada. It mergered with Sterling Bank in 1924 and shortly after with the Canadian Bank of Commerce in 1928. See also: List of Canadian banks
