Stan MikitaStan Mikita (born May 20 1940) is a Slovak-Canadian ice hockey player. He was born in Sokolce, Czechoslovakia (now Slovakia), but moved to Ontario, Canada as a young boy. Mikita became an NHL hockey player, playing his entire career with the Chicago Blackhawks from 1959-1980. He played centre and won many awards over his career including the Hart Trophy (twice), the Art Ross Memorial Trophy (four times), and the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy (twice), and a Stanley Cup in 1961.
