Stalag Luft Vii-aStalag Luft VIIA start existence in 1944 in Bankau (today Bąkw) 6 kilometers from Kreuzburg ( today Kluczbork) in Germany (today Poland). Firstly (1.07.1944)were in camp 230 prisoners. In next months, prisoners were more, and 1.01.1945 in camp were 1578 prisoners. In camp were British, Americans, Russian, Polish and Canadian prisoners.
