Stafford House College

Stafford House College is an independent secondary school in Canterbury, England. Established in 1952, as a public school-type sixth form college for people who wanted to send their children to have the public school education and experience but who did not want to send their children at such a young an age as other contemporary public schools required. It started out in the London location of Kensington, but later was moved to Canterbury. The College now occupies a secure residential campus in the city of Canterbury, near the south coast, just over 1 hour from London. Each year around 200 students prepare for external examinations and university entrance at the College. Stafford House College has a long standing tradition of helping students to gain places at university. The College has a very high success rate, and on average 97% of students from there succeed in gaining degree course places.
