Geography St. Pierre is located at 48°14'6" North, 109°49'24" West (48.234885, -109.823352). According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 20.9 km² (8.1 mi²). 20.9 km² (8.1 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 289 people, 76 households, and 69 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 13.8/km² (35.8/mi²). There are 80 housing units at an average density of 3.8/km² (9.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 1.73% White, 0.35% African American, 97.58% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.35% from two or more races. 0.35% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 76 households out of which 52.6% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.0% are married couples living together, 25.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 9.2% are non-families. 9.2% of all households are made up of individuals and 0.0% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 3.80 and the average family size is 3.91. In the CDP the population is spread out with 38.8% under the age of 18, 10.0% from 18 to 24, 26.0% from 25 to 44, 19.0% from 45 to 64, and 6.2% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 26 years. For every 100 females there are 107.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 103.4 males. The median income for a household in the CDP is $40,750, and the median income for a family is $26,875. Males have a median income of $27,083 versus $26,917 for females.
