St. Petersburg Renegades

The St. Petersburg Renegades were a franchise in the dufunct Sunshine Hockey League. The Renegades joined the league half way through it's first season in 1992-93 and were the joke of the SuHL. One of the team's biggest problems was it's close proximity to the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning who were an expansion club at the time. As a result, the Renegades drew an average of 889 people per game.
