St. Clair (Ttc)

St. Clair is a station on the Yonge-University-Spadina line of the Toronto subway. It is located at 1331 Yonge Street at St. Clair Avenue East. It opened in 1954. Nearby landmarks include the David A. Balfour Park (Vale of Avoca section of Rosedale ravine), St. Michael's Cemetery, Deer Park, Moore Park, Upper Canada College, and Forest Hill. Bus and streetcar routes connecting to St. Clair:

  • 512 St. Clair Streetcar
North of the station, the tunnel jogs left to cross to the west side of Yonge Street. Then the line runs on the surface for some 1.3 kilometres, initially between Yonge Street and the Davisville Yard, the TTC's original subway yard.
