Spruce Hole Bog

  Spruce Hole Bog is a complete ecological community occupying a true kettle hole.  It has been designated a National Natural Landmark since 1972; there were five similar sites, but they have been destroyed. It is located two miles west-southwest of Durham, New Hampshire, in Strafford County.
