Splatstick Film

Splatstick is a phrase coined by actor Bruce Campbell to describe the Evil Dead movies in which he starred. "Splatstick" is physical comedy (slapstick) that involves evisceration (things that go "splat!"). Some examples of splatstick would include Peter Jackson's Dead Alive, Bad Taste, and (at times) Michele Soavi's Cemetery Man (Dellamorte Dellamore, 1994).
