is an
Austrian
town. The town of Spittal is located in the western part of the
Austrian
province of
Carinthia
and the main town of the provinces largest county (which is also Austrias second largest county). Spittal has a population of about 16.000 people and in the town centre there is one of the most beautiful renaissance castles in Austria (
Schloss Porcia
).
