Spalding, Idaho, is a village located in Nez Perce County, Idaho, United States, ten miles east of Lewiston, on the Snake River close to the intersection of US 95 and US 12. The village was named after Reverend Henry Harmon Spalding, a missionary who taught the Nez Perce, who live nearby, to use irrigation. The Headquarters and Visitor's Center for the Nez Perce National Historical Park are located at Spalding.
