South Bermondsey Railway Station

South Bermondsey railway station lies on the "inner" South London Line, between London Bridge and Queens Road Peckham. It is also served by trains from London Bridge to West Croydon via Dulwich and Crystal Palace. The station was opened on 13 August 1866; the original station was slightly nearer South Bermodsey Junction with the "outer" South London Line. It was closed in 1928, when the present station took its place. It is, like most of the lines in the area, on a high level viaduct; the platforms and buildings thereon are of wooden construction. The New Den, Millwall F.C.'s home ground, is adjacent to the station.
