SorbetoSorbeto is a frozen dessert made from water and/or soy milk, combined with flavourings, sweeteners, and a stabilizing agent. Sorbeto is a form of gelato made with no dairy. Unlike ice cream, the machinery used whips almost no air into the sorbeto, resulting in a dense and extremely flavorful product. This allows sorbeto to match and sometimes exceed dairy-based gelato or ice cream for taste. Sorbeto typically contains about 3% fat, depending on the ingredients. See also *Sorbet
