Soldiers' And Sailors' Monument

The Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument commemorates Union Army soldiers and sailors who served in the American Civil War. It is located at 89th street and Riverside Drive in Riverside Park, New York. It was dedicated on Memorial Day, 1902. The monument was designed by architects Charles Stoughton and Arthur Stoughton. The ornamental features were carved by Paul E. Duboy.
