Smarties (Ce De Candy)In the United States, Smarties are a type of loosely fruit-flavored candy produced by Ce De Candy. These are marketed outside of the US under the brand name "Rockets". One individual candy is in the shape of a cylinder, with a diameter of roughly 1 centimeter and a height of roughly .25 centimeter, and has a pale color - Smarties come in several different colors, including white, pale yellow, pale pink, and pale green. They are usually packaged in the form of a tube-shaped array of candies, wrapped in a piece of transparent, pliable plastic sheet. Because each package is small and inexpensive, they are often given away in bulk for occasions such as parties or Halloween.
