Slot-machine Heraldry

Slot-machine heraldry is a disparaging term used (particularly in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA)) to refer to heraldic designs in which three different, or thematically unrelated, charges, appear in a row on a shield, supposedly giving the appearance of a slot machine.
