Sleuth (Computer Game)

Sleuth is a 1983 freeware DOS game by Eric N. Miller of Norland Software. Featuring color ASCII graphics, this game is a whodunit where the player attempts to solve a murder by moving from room to room, examining objects and questioning suspects. A limited amount of time is available, since the murderer eventually becomes suspicious and seeks to eliminate the detective. Sleuth bears a strong resemblance to the board game Clue. Sleuth allows the player to personalize the game by entering the names of seven friends. The characters in the game are then named after the friends; one of them will become the murder victim, and the rest will be suspects.
