Sir Mildred Pierce

Sir Mildred Pierce (born January 30, 1976) is a Detroit-born genre-crossing musician and producer whose music tends to have a sample-heavy cinematic sound to it. Pierce (born Ian Cameron) grew up in Augusta, Georgia and started recording music in 1998, releasing his first single "Rubber Dancer '85" as an MP3. He has since released five albums worth of material via the internet. Pierce is noted within the internet-music community for making all his music available on the internet for free. Releases CD editions of his albums in limited quantities and claims that his 'main medium' is the MP3. Has dabbled in many art-forms other than music, most notable project is the online art of bananadine.comhttp://www.bananadine.com. Collaborated with Prince Edward Island musician Windom Earle on the song "Movie Music Theme Sound Track" which is one of 76's most recognizable tunes. Heavily influenced by good friend, E_B_A, with whom he formed the hip-hop band Kobayashi and released one album. Recorded the bulk of his fifth album "v" in Nome, Alaska. As of 2002 Resides in Anchorage, Alaska
