Sir Michael Myers

The Rt Hon Sir Michael Myers, GCMG, PC, KC Inner Temple (b. 7 September 1873, d. 8 April 1950) was the sixth Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of New Zealand from 1929 to 1946 and served occasionally as Administrator of New Zealand from 1930 to 1941. He was the first Jew to hold this position. Sir Michael attended Wellington College from 1886 to 1891 and gained his LL B from Canterbury University College in 1897.
