Singapore General Hospital

The Singapore General Hospital (SGH) is the largest hospital in Singapore, as well as being the oldest, tracing its roots back to 1821. The Singapore Health Services hospital occupies sprawling grounds at Outram Park, sharing space with four specialist centres, namely the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC), the National Heart Centre (NHC), the National Cancer Centre (NDC) and the National Dental Centre (NDC).

fill in As a result of a restructuring exercise in the local heathcare scene, the hospital came under the management of Singapore Health Services in March 2000.
