Sing the Sorrow is the first major-label release by the punk rock band AFI. The style is hard to classify as it mixes Hardcore punk, Pop punk, Goth rock and Post punk. The album was released as a compact disc in 2003 (see 2003 in music). The album reached the #5 position on the Billboard charts, and was certified gold on April 30, 2003 by the RIAA. This album went platnium in December of 2004.

Note: "... But Home Is Nowhere" ends at 3:50, followed by silence until 4:28. Then there is a untitled song with a boy speaking with piano in the background until 8:42, it goes into a different song, titled "This Time Imperfect" (the title can be found in the booklet that comes with the CD). Tracks 15 and 16 are special tracks which are available only on the UK Import version of the CD, or by accessing an AFI website for download.
