Simon D. Perry Perry is a professor at Marshall University and the chair of its political science department. In 1994 he was appointed as the first Drinko Fellow. Hailing from Gilbert, West Virginia, Dr. Perry received his undergraduate degree in political science and history from Berea College in Kentucky. He also has a master's degree from the University of Tennessee and a Ph.D from Michigan State University. Classes Dr. Perry has been a member of the University faculty since 1962.
