  Simon Ammann 
Simon Ammann, b. June 25, 1981 at Grabs, Switzerland Debuted as a 16 year old unknown during the 1997-98 World Cup season. Amman did qualify for the 1998 Nagano Olympic Games where he finished 35th. He improved significantly over the ensuing years. In 2002, at the Olympics in Salt Lake City, Ammann won both individual events in ski jumping.
