Sigma Pi Phi

Sigma Pi Phi is a Greek-letter fraternity formed in 1904 by African-American doctors who couldn't join other civic organizations because of the color of their skin. The members of its Grand Boule say the fraternity was more of a way for leading African-American men to network in their own communities than an organization that took political stands.
